Embird + pfaff + windows 7

WIndows 7 finns både som 32 och 64. Jag har Vista 64 och ska byta till Windows 7 32. Enl Dusan Balera ska Embird fungera med 32:an. Har du kollat FAQ på Embirds hemsida.
Embirds iconizer fungerar inte med Vista 64 bara med Vista 32 och de har antagligen uppgraderat Embird till Window 7 32.
Här är svaret jag fick från Embird den 30 oktober i år. Jag har inte fått det att fungera när jag försökt köra det i XP Mode.

Current version of Embird is 32-bit, and there is no problem with running it under 32-bit edition of Windows 7. All plug-ins are functional, including Iconizer plug-in.

However, Iconizer plug-in is not functional in 64-bit edition of Windows 7. The solution is to install and use Embird in "Windows XP Mode" running in 64-bit edition of Windows 7 - then the Iconizer plug-in is functional..

The 64-bit edition of Windows 7 does not contain two versions of Explorer (as it was in Windows Vista), but only 64-bit Windows Explorer. Therefore Iconizer plug-in is not working there. The solution is to use Virtual Windows XP Mode from Microsoft, in which the Iconizer does work correctly (with 32-bit Windows Explorer which is part of Virtual Windows XP). However, Virtual Windows XP Mode cannot run on every PC - it depends on microprocessor. You can test the compatibility with Virtual Windows XP Mode at Microsoft web site at
