"The Bag Making Bible"

OK, this book is written by Lisa Lam (u-handbag) and has a foreword by Amy Butler. It is a fantastic book that is best described as a 'bag construction' book. It has 8 bags, full patterns provided, but throughout the book and the 8 sets of instructions, you are shown how to do various parts of bag construction. Base (bottom), pockets, zip styles, fabric choice, interfacing / interlining. Its all there.
I love the book and asked out local library in Umeå to get a copy in. Lisas style of writing is fun but extremely knowledgable. If you want to make your own bags, understand why bits of bags are made the way they are, this is a super book.
