Jag har varit i kontakt med SMD och problemet verkar vara löst till viss del. Jag fick det här svaret:

There has been agreement!!!
Janome Tokyo, Janome UK and the Scandinavian distributor have agreed that we can continue to supply certain models to Sweden, Denmark and Norway customers.
These models*will be selected from*our "exclusives" which Janome UK imports especially for ourselves (110, 5108, 5124,1000CP, 644D, 744D, etc). So far, the 9102D and 744D overlockers and the*1000CP*cover hem machine*have been selected.
Also, these models will have to be advertised as*NEW HOME so they don`t conflict with the Janome models available in these countries.
Machines supplied to us*in future shipments will be branded NEW HOME.
