Varför går tråden av!!??

de här punkterna skrevs i ett Yahooforum som jag är med på. De är på engelska men jag hoppas att Du kan få lite ledtrådar ändå. En anledning kan vara fel nål, eller att nålen behöver bytas.

1. Needle is in backwards, and/or not pushed up all the way,
before fastening the screw

2. The machine is threaded incorrectly
Check the thread path

3. Needle needs to be replaced

4. Thin column stitching causes thread break,
increase column width

5. Stitches are too dense:
change the density (stitch spacing)
to lessen number of stitches

6. Tensions are too tight
Perform 'I', or 'H' tension test

7. Burrs, or scratches on the needle plate
use a magnifying glass to inspect item

8. Thread becomes brittle over time

9. Metallic thread can twist, or kink
use appropriate needle with larger eye
slow speed of machine, slide a smooth net over cone

10. Sewing speed too fast.
